Just be honest, tell him you want to get to know each other better and to wait until after the baby is here to decide if he really wants to get married. I know ideally you'd get married and live happily ever after but sometimes it doesn't work that way. My sister got pregnant a month into her relationship and they were together the whole pregnancy. Around 3 months after their son was born they split up. They realized they were just too different but still had a lot of love and respect for each other & raised their son together.

Maybe just stay engaged for a few years. lol

Yeah I understand that, I got with my SO. A month later we were pregnant. The night I gave birth he asked me to marry him, I said yes and we've been together 6 years almist, not marries but engaged. & it works this way for me ♡ and him.

I know how you feel. We didn't start dating till I was 4 months pregnant and now that he wants to join the military and there is a baby involved, we are forced to get married before he can enlist and be on active duty. I'm heart broken over it but he couldn't be happier

Kaitlin!! Do what I'm doing! Tell him you want to stay engaged for awhile because you need the benefits of being a single mom to pay for schooling right now and you want to plan the wedding for after you get your degree or when you're close to ot
