About a month ago I lost a tiny bit of my mucus plug and now I've lost a crap ton the filled my toilet paper when I wiped.... Is that okay loosing so much at once?

I googled what the mucus plug looks like and I told my midwife and the way I described it she knew right off the bat it was my mucus plug. She ran a test to make sure and it was the mucus plug
