almost had an anxiety attack in front of my BD cuz we were talking about our daughter starting school and having to get vaccines and I starting thinking out loud and he looked at me all crazy cuz I just started saying she's not getting the flu shot or any other cap the school makes me get her he isn't from where I live so he says the flu shot isn't mandatory then I told him the schools around here make us give it to them and that I read stuff about the flu shot on top of seeing my dad get Gillian's beret cuz of getting one so I've seen first hand what it can do to people on top of giving them the flu and he just kept looking at me like I was crazy and now I feel like I over reacted cuz he told me I need to stop reading into things to much (I'm a FTM and I have anxiety reading into things is what helps me ) what do yall think

I think you have every right to worry about it, I read into it too and it scares the shit outta me

I feel like he isn't on the same level as me cuz he's not around 24/7 and he hasn't had to stay up with her all night while she runs fevers after she gets her shots and doesn't have to figure out things out when shes just crying and isnt feeling good cuz he isn't around @tatiananoelani

Well in that case, you should do what you feel is best, I mean you have years down the road before you have to get those shots for her. I know they "recommend" it every however many months & years, but if not doing it makes you feel better, then do what your mommy instinct tells you to!

I just don't want her to have a alergic reaction to anything other and me not know that she's having one because she's so tiny like both me and the nurse was discussing her getting tested to see if she's allergic to penicillin and I was telling her and I try to explain to her that I'd rather wait till she is verbal and is able to tell me "mommy it hurts or Mommy I can't breathe" you know what I mean because the only reason why I say that is because of the fact that me and my dad are both deathly allergic to penicillin and I don't want to give her the test and her be only five six months and not beable to tell thats she having a reaction to it does that make sense? and while I was trying to explain this he was giving me all sorts of looks like "what the hell" and he was just making me feel dumb @tatiananoelani

With you being allergic to it that makes it more likely for her to be too! My roommate is allergic to amoxicillin and so is her youngest daughter and she had to find that out the hard way! I wouldn't take the risk, I mean I wouldn't know too much about it because I'm not allergic to any medicine and neither is my husband, but waiting is your best option, I'd be more disappointed if you did it anyway
