I went to the pediatrician today, and the doctor was a total BITCH. And super unprofessional. My son has been having acid reflux problems and every night and morning he groans and moans in his sleep, and I called about 2 days ago the doctors office to see if I could speak to the doctor... Well I spoke to her, and she was of no help whatsoever. I decided to go today in the morning after being up the past 3 days with my son because of this problem. She had the AUDACITY to tell the nurse "she just called 2 days ago" so the nurse asked her if she wanted to see my son, and she murmured something. I don't understand what the problem is if I bring my son in when I called the other day. If he is sick or has a problem I'm not hesitating to bring him to the doctor. Fucking bitch. Luckily he won't be on Medicaid any longer and on his daddy's insurance. Unfortunately I feel like being on medical one doesn't get the treatment we deserve.

Oh no! My boy has acid reflux and was suffering so bad! That sucks that your doctor is like that, my baby tested negative for blood in his stools and the doctor still gave us a prescription to help him out. I never understand why some people get into the business of helping people if they act that way!! Like why be a doctor if you don't wanna help others with their illnesses?

@mrzhyde, he's actually allergic to regular milk and is on soy. I think I wanna try to thicken his milk with rice cereal. He's on ranitidine 2 times a day. I've seen no improvement.

My baby is on soy too and that seemed to help more. Hmm how much is his dosage on the ranitidine? My son is taking 1.5 mls and that seems to work for most of the day. I haven't done the rice cereal thing because he seems to be okay! But if it works for your boy then I would do it!

@mrzhyde, he just got it increases to 1.5. So you give it to him before feeding? My son hates it and gags or spits it up.

I actually give it to him in a bottle @mombie2be he takes it so much better! That's what my doc recommended when he wouldn't take it.

@mrzhyde, I feel like the medicine reacts better when he takes it without the milk. I'll see tonight. We gave him the medicine before feeding tonight.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that !what a bitch and Thank God he had nothing more serious. I'd file a complaint. How's he doing better I hope. I'm in Seattle and my family in Cali has told me that it's not that great. if your on medicad here you can go to the best hospitals and Clinic's,Should be the same every way..
