i will be induced on may 5th, im scared...
any of you ladies been through this before?
what happens?
and how long does it take?
im super scared.
@tbreezy562, I would walk a lot! I was dilated at like 32 or 33 weeks, but I stayed at a 1 for a while! Pitocin sucks, btw. You get no break in between contractions, like you know how some may last long or shorter the break in between? You don't get that really with pitocin. You get a 2-3 minute break and it sucks ass lol.
@tbreezy562, not sure if I spelt it right but it's the medicine through I v
cause my doctor wants to induce me at 39 weeks cause my last daughter was 9 pounds, i have big babies lol
I was! I was dilated to a 3 and almost fully effaced when I went in. Pitocin started at 10:08 am, Doctor came in at 10:15am and checked me, told me I was a 4 and broke my water. At 11:30 am I was 5 1/2-6 cm, at 12:08 pm I had my epidural and was pushing by 12:30! I had my daughter at 1:27 pm. I'm a FTM!
I was induced when I was only 1cm & it wasn't bad. I wouldn't change the way my labor went at all.. My doctor starts the process at night to thin your cervix, which isn't really painful at all. Then first thing in the morning they give you the pitocin and after that it just depends on your body. My active labor lasted less than four hours
