I was having a really depressing day today. I lost my mom to breast cancer five years ago. She was my best friend and I just miss all that comes with having a loving mother around. This is my first baby so not having her here has been very difficult and emotional. I thank the Lord for my husband. He held me when I had to watch her take her last breath and he's been holding me up ever since. He got home from work, took me to get all my favorite snacks, a movie and whatever I was craving for dinner. He said "I know these things don't bring her back but they will make you smile, even if it's just for a bit." My daughter is so lucky to have this man as her father and I'm beyond blessed he is my partner. Thank you mama for sending us this little baby to bond us even more. Miss you 💖
