Literally so speechless yesterday finding out I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant. I'm turning 25 next week…

congratulations momma!!! how exciting!! I was the same, not trying at all and that's what your body is in prime relaxation and it'll happen naturally. I'd say try very hard not to stress, especially until at least 13 or so weeks you're in a risky period so take prenatals and DHA asap, drink lots of water, and my advice would be not to tell anyone until after 13 weeks except your closest family or parents as exciting as it can be to share with friends, things happen in the beginning that are of no fault or control of your own and if anything did, you might not want the world knowing or asking how baby is all the time except your closest support. again not likely and not trying to be dark, just remember being stressed all trimester wanting to get to the lower risk category but also wanting to shout to the world I'M PREGNANT!!! :) take it a day at a time and you two enjoy every minute. plan a cute announcement for later and don't read too into books and things. I love my pregnancy+ app and GlowNurture app too. good luck little momma!

@marienoelle, thank you so much! I only announced it on here since this page is so supportive and helpful haha but we aren't announcing it on Facebook until Father's Day since I'll be 13 weeks. What's DHA?? I know about the prenatal but didn't know about the DHA

that's wonderful!! and Dha is just a type of fish oil or omega that is super great for babys brain development, most prenatals have Dha in it but the ones I had didn't so I bought Dha specifically for pregnancy. be sure you look into your prenatal vitamins cause you want as much of your minerals as possible and not all of them contain things like iron or calcium. folic acid is most important, at least 800mg, so gummies would even work just fine. you may get bad morning sickness soon so be flexible with trying whatever you can hold down long as it has folic acid, Dha is a big plus too. :)

not to worry sorry for the lengthy explanations I'm just really excited for you, I remember it so well and I'm already at 36 weeks. it'll fly by! enjoy every part and try to have daddy involved as much as possible in appts, spending time together, backrubs and food runs, and shopping. he doesn't get to feel what you feel so create the experience and take advantage of being able to relax and request whatever you want haha. it's also never too early to make a habit of talking to baby! :) have an amazing first trimester and message me anytime, it's all fresh in my mind and I wish I had someone to ask questions to haha.

My husband wants to be at all the apps and is wanting to build the baby our crib. So I'm really excited he's so excited and wants to start doing things now.
