Plus he wants a certain amount set now just in case he gets a better job in the future and don't have to raise that amount.....if he's that type of person.

Exactly @babykamya2016 my mom works for the child support so I hear about how the dads pay the same amount unless they update their employment/pay grade. If they don't say anything they keep the same amount especially if the mom doesn't find out about the new job and pay increase
