Is that how it works? Wouldn't she still take on the last name of her husband ? Or if she wanted to keep her maiden name it would become hyphenated with his? I'm not sure if you have no middle name if your maiden name becomes that once you get married...but I could be very wrong lol

It's the girl's preference! For example:

Let's say a girl's name is Mary Anne Smith and she marries a guy named Michael jones.

She would have to choose between Mary Anne Jones or Mary Smith Jones @arielannette. But if her name was just Mary Smith with no middle name, she wouldn't have to decide, she'd just be Mary Smith Jones.
