Do banks give credit cards to help repair credit or only to build credit?

No. I'm talking about the type of credit card that they'll give you. With little or bad credit they only give you the ones where you put down like $300 on and see how you do with that.

Navy Federal Credit Union does it. Try to contact Capital One, I believe they do it as well. @junesmommy15

would I have a better chance getting a credit card with a credit union? @withlovedkj

that's what I'm thinking.. I bank at a small bank that rarely gives credit cards but my friend got one at dupaco lol @lexij

@jasminemaye, its the only place I can think of in galena that would give one to someone who's never had one before. lol
