Heartburn = no sleep .... 💤 tums did nothing , after my bf left for work tried to sleep in the…

I used tums with my previous pregnancies and they never worked... I had to keep taking them, but with this one I take zyrtec and it works. last night I had heartburn and took two zyrtec and have been without heartburn ever since

@kendrah3, don't u mean Zantac not Zyrtec? Zyrtec is an allergy medicine. I just don't want @blessing2016 taking the wrong thing. Lol.

I have been taking Zantac since I was 15 wks when my ob said it try it , about 2 wks ago it no longer works :(

@kendrah3, ok that's what I figured. Just checking lol. And @blessing2016 since u have been taking it for a little while ur body may have built up a tolerance to it and that's y it isn't working anymore. I would talk to ur dr about it and I suggest alternating between Zantac and the tums and see if that helps u at all. I would consult with ur dr first bc idk if alternating them is safe or not. It's just an idea.

Zantac stopped working for me too, so my doctor told me to start taking Prilosec and it's been a LIFESAVER!
