I hate that maternity leave is so short. I don't think babies are ready to go to daycare at 6 weeks that ridiculous especially if you're breastfeeding. I know the fmla at my job gives you 12 weeks but you only get paid for 6 weeks. I'm gonna make those 3 checks really stretch and take my whole 12 weeks. then possibly take a leave of absence. don't wanna return to work until baby is 6 months

It's so sad the way they put maternity leave on the back burner. Most places don't offer anything more than the bare minimum required by the government which isn't much at all :(

yes, the minimal is 6 weeks. that's why I'm saving as much as possible. I'm not leaving my baby that early @michellevaldez4750

I went back to work after 3 or 4 weeks but only because my mom was with my kids and they were bottle fed. I tried breastfeeding my last 2 for a couple weeks each but it was very painful. I'm going to try again but this time I'll be taking classes and having someone there to help me!

ok, good luck I'm sure you'll be fine. I didn't take any classes just watched a ton of YouTube videos and read everything I could find online about breastfeeding @michellevaldez4750
