Did anyone do the blood work at 12 weeks to find out the gender ? how accurate is it

It's more accurate than an ultra sound. It's 99 percent correct.

I did. It's about 95% after 7 weeks and goes up every week thereafter. I did mine at the same time as the test for genetic abnormalities like Downs Syndrome. Just a quick blood draw!

@cutie1790, Most insurance only covers it if you are 35 years or older. You can always check with your insurance and then ask the lab what the cost is out of pocket.

Check with your insurance i know with most Medicaid it covers it.

I had it done and it was accurate.

@cutie1790, I did maternity 21 test, they said 99% accurate. My insurance did cover it, but it was actually less expensive for me to pay out of pocket than to file with insurance. Make sure you ask.

I got it done, and it was 100% accurate, they said I was having a boy, and sure enough Elliot is a boy!
