That would really hurt me but just like you I have so much pride and I wouldn't say anything. I haven't gotten married but it's because my SO is still married, he's been separated for about 6 years now and tried getting a divorce years ago but she never signed the papers. Now, he wants to marry me but we don't have the money for the divorce. So I definitely understand you when it comes to this.

@t142, we got pregnant really early in our relationship. He told me he never wanted to get married and I understood that but then he started saying he wanted to and we were going to but he keeps changing his mind and I don't blame him it's scary being in love. It just hurts knowing he wanted to and then didn't and now apparently he wants to just in case something bad happens to me during child birth he's afraid if something happened and I died I'd be unhappy because I wasn't married to him. Don't let a sensitive man watch what to expect while expecting it gets to them. I don't want him to just want to marry me because of that though.. I won't let him marry me because of that. Only if he's 100% sure it's what he wants. I love him so much I'm not even gonna bring it up. It'll make him either upset I said something again about marriage or mad at himself for making me sad.
