For the first time today I had to let my babies just cry it out, and when I finally checked on them they both gave me the saddest look 😭💔 I hate doing it, but I have to start breaking their habit of being held all the time 😞

They are only 3 months old! They are still learning to be in a scary world to them. Good luck.

@mommastone, @coltroyalsmama1224 yes, I know, but soon enough I'll have them in their own room and I want them to be out of the habit of always wanting to be held or slept with

It is not a habit. It is literally a need. Just a perspective. Look at it as a need rather than a habit. They may be transitioned into their own room, but letting cry won't help. It just makes it harder on them and you. Try easing them into it and slowly transition them. Look up some ways to do so.

@mommastone, well thanks for the advice, but I think what I'm doing is just fine. Letting them cry for a few minutes of the day won't hurt them

The post made it seem like it was more than that. Of course letting them cry a little is okay. Especially if you need to get something done. I meant letting them cry often and not meeting their emotional needs. I am sure it is hard to have two especially! Do you work? And does your husband want them in their own room?

I found around 5-7 months they are better and will be easier at transitioning into their own room. I was just showing another perspective and that perhaps they are a little young for the change they are being made to do. I am only saying this you seemed upset that you're doing it.
