id say probably 50/50 my husband n i r both allergic to pennacillin so I'm wondering too!

@mygiftof2016, @courtney017 the tendency to be allergic to something is genetic, but it's not for specific allergies. So if you're allergic to something (literally anything), your child will be more susceptible to be allergic to something, although it won't necessarily be the same thing you're allergic to. For example, I am allergic to sulfa drugs. So my daughter will have a genetic tendency to develop allergies to something, but not necessarily sulfa drugs in particular.
