Is it bad to breast-feed and formula feed? The reason I am asking is because I have been breast-feeding my almost 4 week old newborn and I'm supposed to be feeding him 3 ounces every three hours, but sometimes I barely get that 3 ounces sometimes 2 1/2 and sometimes I can't even get that I feel like my baby is not eating enough

I give my baby my breast milk and formula! I don't think it's bad seeing as that's the way the nurses would do it when she was in the Nicu!

My nephew has some gas problems but idk if it's from that or not.

Just make you some oatmeal and drink some Gatorade (red or blue)kind and you get more.also mothers milk tea or fenugreek pills are really good to increase your milk supply. Downloaded this app called Pinterest and they have lots of tips for you

No not at all, sometimes I just let him nurse from the breast and when he gets real fussy then I do formula

not mine. she only gets it after she's still fussy after breastfeeding. usually a half ounce or so
