To the moms that had to be induced how did the process start when you first got to the hospital. I guess Kinda like a step by step (I know it may be different for everyone maybe)
In my opinion, the worse part about being induced with my first daughter was the actual process if having my water broken.
someone else told me that hurt too @rachelhoffmans and our nurse looked at us crazy and was like that shouldn't hurt whoever did that was not doing it right... it kinda creeped me out a bit
It sucks until you get the epidural. The most painful thing about it is when they shove their hand up your vagina to check your cervix.
@rachelhoffmans, I go on Monday to be induced and I'm freaking out a little bit
they checked me in, started the pitocin and checked me about every two hours, once I made it to a 3 they gave me meds for the pain (not my epidural) and I danced around the room, three hours later they broke my water because I didn't dilate any farther, after that I went to a seven, they gave me my epidural and my catheter and another couple hours later they checked me again and still no progress, my son was in distress so I had a c section. but I only believe that happened because I was induced before baby was ready to come out and my body also wasn't ready. I had my son at 38 weeks and 4 days. I was in labor from the 15th until 3:28am the 17th. so yes, my story was diffrent, but I thought I'd share :)
how did that go @browneyed_bee
