don't hesitate to go to the hospital especially if you don't have a doctor, it is neglect if you don't do something to help the situation. .

most places will see you and let you set up a payment plan, it's expensive to have a baby. my old insurance covered 3 or 4 grand but I'd still have to pay another grand depending on how everything goes too, c sections require you to stay longer so they cost more, it's a pain in the butt. I'd just call around and explain the situation, if all else fails call around to birth line, planned parenthood, pregnancy crisis centers, they can help you, and if your pain becomes excruciating go to the hospital don't risk losing your baby over money, they can't refuse to give you medical attention.

you should be eligible for Medicaid because you are pregnant! don't use no insurance as an excuse to not get help. yours and your baby's life can be endangered! hospitals should be able to see you no questions asked.

Medicaid can't turn you down if you're pregnant. It doesn't matter how much you make.
