@swilson8541, I am so sorry to hear about your loss I've had a D & C before and it's just a simple surgery they put you to sleep and it's to clean out your uterus you will have a little cramping after for a few days but it's actually a simple procedure .. I am so sorry!! My thoughts and prayers are with you! I had a miscarriage in July and i understand how painful it is. I didn't have a D&C so I don't know anything about that, but I know the pain gets better. You'll never forget, but your heart will heal. What I did was make a little remembrance for my baby. I put the pair of booties I bought and made a card that said "until I can hold you in my arms, I'll hold you in my heart." It helped me a lot every time I looked at it. And now I smile every time knowing my baby is a sweet Angel with God. If you need someone to talk to, you can message me if you'd like. I hope you're doing as okay as possible ❤️
