Seriously at a loss and don't know what to do. I cried myself to sleep last night because I was in so much pain, I can't wait for the doctor tomorrow so I don't stress Alayna out anymore. Very TMI and gross but has anyone ever had a perianal abcess? Mines a fistula meaning it won't go away until I can have surgery, after I have her. It's in the worst spot ever I can't walk without my checks rubbing together making it hurt, I can't wear underwear even loose ones hurt, I can't sit upright at all what so ever without excruciating pain, I can't even lay down in my comfy bed without it hurting, I'm so lost on what to do until my doctors appointment it hurts😭😭😭

I've had the same thing since winter 2014. It's really painful in the beginning when your fistula is forming and draining but I've learned to live with it. The surgery is expensive and there's a 50% chance of it recurring anyway.

it's not a hemorrhoid, it's like a big nasty pimple that won't pop, so all of the infection is really irritated and hot and itchy and super swollen, I had it drained once before I was pregnant and they told me if it goes away I'll be fine if it comes back all I can do is get surgery, oh my god the shot they give to numb goes basically right in your butt hole which is the worst shot I've ever had, I'd rather have 10 in my mouth, and those suck, I haven't tried the numbing spray I wonder if it would help@littlemissrainesmommy I don't even know how to call in and tell me boss, like I don't wanna say "hey my assholes broken, gotta get it cut open and drained, be back to work on monday" so not a talk I want to have:(

@indigenousmommy, I've had it drained, the surgery they want to do is to cut out the entire fistula and burn the area so it doesn't grow back, it's so inflamed right now and I can't do anything:(

Mine drains itself, it still closes from time to time and has to open again, it's really painful some days and others it ok. I'm thinking about doing the surgery as well but not until after baby is born and even then I'm on the fence. The surgery can cause incontinence. :(

I didn't know about the incontinence I guess that's something the doctor will talk to me about tomorrow. @indigenousmommy I'm so nervous because I know it hurts but I'm so ready for relief

I know what you mean, it's such an inconvenience and living with the pain is not fun. Especially when you're pregnant and have other aches and pains. I hope you get some relief from the doctor appointment. I honestly haven't told many people about mine and should be more proactive about getting a treatment plan started. I was just so embarrassed and felt violated when I went to get a consult with a doctor. He was not gentle or caring at all so it kinda ruined my experience and desire to seek help.

I think I'm going to look for another hospital, one with a woman doctor and preferably someone non white. Lol

@indigenousmommy, women definitely seem to care more! I had an Arabian lady when I went to minor emergency the first time I got it drained and she was the sweetest and so gentle
