Why are they going to induce you at 39 weeks? I'm asking because I'm 39 weeks and my doctor hasn't mentioned a damn thing about inducing me and I'm ready to have this kid! lol

You can ask to be induced at 39 weeks! Legally that is the earliest you can be induced unless medically necessary. My ob offered to induce me at 39 weeks if I wanted to@noramichelle

My baby has extra fluid in her kidneys so my ob is saying it's safe to deliver at 39 weeks that way they can get a better look at her kidneys to see if we need to do anything right away. @noramichelle

@vb95, thank you! I NEVER knew that!! now I'm gonna be thinking about it because I want him out, but I'm scared to get induces because I hear it hurts worse than going into labor naturally.
