So in a wonderful (read: ridiculous) twist of events, the doctors office calls me (mind you I'm on my way to the appointment already) to tell me that my insurance didn't go through to cover my iron infusions so they cancelled my entire appointment including meeting with the nurse practitioner, they really couldn't have had the decency to call me yesterday or earlier this week to tell me this? My mom called out of work to go with me to this thing (even though I told her I'd be fine) and now I feel bad because she's missing out on her money over their carelessness. 😪 I legit can't take the iron pills so I don't know what the hell they're gonna do now of the infusions were last resort.

@amaperalta03, I was thinking about that; I'd have to probably do that through my father since I'm still on his insurance plan for a few more years or just get a secondary insurance through other means. There was a point when I was really young that I had a secondary insurance through the state I live in but since I already had private insurance through my father they cut me off so I'm definitely going to look into my options and see what I can do or get because my job only offers their full time workers insurance benefits and I believe their enrollment period ended already on top of that.
