So I need advice. I haven't had my baby yet. And I have to go back to work May 6. Being that they will induce me next week April 26 on my birthday. I'll only have a week with her and what not. And I can't ask for more time off because then I'll be fired. That's not giving me enough time to bond with her. Or even RELAX. I dunno what to do but cry !

I see your answers for other people but FMLA should cover you if I'm not mistaken

Fmla protects your job in all states. You don't get paid but you will have your job. Are you full time? Not sure if that makes a difference

I'm pretty sure there are laws that should protect you and save your job for you while you're on maternity leave. Google your states maternity leave laws.
