It's when your whole stomach tightens for like 20-30 seconds. It shouldn't be painful, but might be uncomfortable (like hard to breathe). It is your body's way of practicing for labor. If you have more than 4 of them in an hour or is recommended that you go into labor and delivery to get checked out. @lilfrankiesmommy
