@skbuff1, mine started about 28, weeks! lather in that pine tar soap girl! it might get worse before it starts to get better but don't give up! just keep using the bar soap and lotion up!!! even use the itching creme as well if u have to... I used the soap for about 2- 3 weeks before it went away! its a miracle! lol on amazon it comes with 3 bars I believe, double check tho!

@skbuff1, that's how mine started! it will spread everywhere, but not really noticeable, besides spiderlike webs on belly. talk to ur midwife or Dr about it to confirm.. its nothing to be concerned about with baby, it's just realllllly annoying for the mom and unfortunately have to wait till the baby is born for it to be gone for some... but I got rid of mine mostly!!! I looked up YouTube videos on it and some ppl referred Grandpas Pine Tar soap! life savor! it smells like camp fire when input it on but is gone by the time u get outta the shower! leave it on in shower after u scrub with it for 3 mins then rinse! repeat as many times throughout the day as u need! I did before bed so I could sleep better! then rubbed lotion everywhere, glad to say I am itch free and my Dr was like what did u use? and I told him now he started referring it to his patients! those itty bitty tubes of creme they give u don't do crap! lol I bout mine of amazon! it's worth it! I heard drinking v8 can help to but I didn't have to and mine is seriously almost non existent! but make sure u tall to ur MW or Dr Cuz their are 2 different types of itching, one is pupps which is mentally,physically and emotionally draining to have and the other is a Lil more serious... but since u said it started in ur belly I'm sure that's what it is! the bad one starts on bottom of ur feet and palms I guess my MW said... It started on my belly, which I thought was normal from stretching. Now it's on my knees really bad & my legs. My arms & back itches as well. I've been putting on lotion but it doesn't seem to help. I go to the doctor next week so I'll ask them about it. How do you get tested for it? @Dan iellehendrix

@skbuff1, itchy from head to toe? how bad? I got what they call is "pupps" which is uncontrollable itching all over... started on the belly. usually common with women carrying boys for some reason. Its miserable. hopefully that's not it! wouldn't wish it on anyone! only goes away until after baby is born, but I did find a natural soap bar that has basically stopped the itching and its popular among women with pupps or just bad itching. hope all is well!!
