any of you ladies have a cat and before your baby got here the cat tried sleeping in the babies…

Yes! Haha. So cute, but my cat sheds terribly. I had to reclean like 30 times. My OBGYN said that a little pet hair is good for a newborn. It helps them have a strong immune system and too not have allergies later in life. 😊🐾

i have her crib up but its filled with stuff and he hasn't got in it, yet but if i leave a drawer open, its his favorite place to sleep lol

how did you get them to stop??? im scared that shell try and get in her stuff with her when my daughter gets here @jennatess

my cat gets in my daughters bassinet and curls up and sleeps lol@aliepaige

My cat loves trying to sleep in the babies bassinet 😑 we have 2 so we put the unused one in the basement for him. 😂

@maliasmommy, I never made mine stop. She's my baby too, so, I figured I'd just clean up after the shedding. My daughter is (almost) 9mo, and if she's in her crib, bassinet, or changing table, the cat doesn't bother getting in there with her. The cat is still nervous around the baby, so, it hasn't been an issue for us.

I too had the same problem. I'm sure someone will have something to say about it but I gave my kitty to a very nice family with a little girl. I couldn't get them to stop. I didn't want to clean and reclean or for them to tear up stuff with claws. Maybe it's because I'm a FTM I was overprotective but I just didn't like them sleeping in babies stuff.

im a FTM also. my cat doesnt claw anything up. and she just sleeps in the bassinet. i think that once my daughter actually gets here and is sleeping in it my cat wont do it. she doesnt like sudden move ment lol

My cats like to sleep in the bassinet but I know once my baby is here they won't go in it with him . this is my third and have had cats each time.
