I need to vent.. 😤😡 So.. my baby is teething and unable to sleep at night so my MIL bought Teething Orajel for her and of course I had to check if it was safe to give to her. She got orajel that contained Benzocaine and directions on the box clearly said do not give to children under age of 2. I also checked online and it said to not give babies anything containing Benzocaine. After all this, my bf still told me to give it to her.. saying his Mom knows best and whatever she gets for Mia, is fine. Like are you kidding me? I'm not gonna give anything to Mia that could potentially harm her. He is so annoying. Always thinking his mama knows everything. I swear if she said she wanted to give Mia a gallon of water, my bf would say OK that's fine. 😩

they think they did for thier kids its ok..they dnt realize this is your bby! n u see whats fit for ur LO...sometimes MIL can be wrong you never know what can harm a bby...@mommytomia,

@leesambee, exactly.. luckily my mil isn't as pushy anymore but it drives me crazy how my man trusts her more with my baby than me .. the mother of his baby.....

I give my daughter teething tablets and those help the best! I tried orajel they have a natural one and it does nothing for my Lo lol, u do what u think is best for ur baby!

or simple just a frozen wash cloth or a mesh hold for food put ice in it let her suck or put her gums on that

that product doesn't even say for baby or infant anywhere on it.... so its okay to give an infant adult meds? NO! that lady is crazy. this is the one I bought, it doesn't have what you said that the other one has, and its meant for baby's. but meanwhile, you can try frozen fruits, cold rags, frozen/cold teething toys. basically anything cold that she can put in her mouth.
