Omg I'm I'm in so much pain I'm in tears. I'm having my first period since giving birth and I just got the mirena a week ago. I'm bleeding very heavily and the cramps feel like contractions. I just took the last of the Motrin prescribed at birth but luckily I have a refill for it.

Hope you feel better hun. I had my 1st period last week and it was bad !!! My husband was freaking out because I was bleeding more than I did after birth, I even had to wear those huge hospital pads. I just got the Mirena yesterday and Im cramping pretty bad still but just spotting now.

Yes I think I'm going to put a hospital pad on because it is very heavy and I've been cramping since I had it put in. Thanks!
