You can sign up online and and just add whatever you want. Or go to an actual store and scan the items you want. They give you a registry number you give to friends and family so they know what to buy you and you get rewards points and save money every time they purchase from the registry. But if they buy the item but not from your registry but somewhere that sells it less, you dont get anything back. So my advance look for a place that price matches.
I've never done it either but you sign up at the store you want ppl to buy stuff at and then scan or click on the items you want on your list of things you want for baby. then you can let ppl know where you're registered so they can buy you the things you need. But just so you know, a lot of ppl end up buying what they want for you anyway and don't even pay attention to the registry :-\
Yup. A lot of times. I guess it kind of depends on the ppl you know. Some are good about things like RSVP'ing and getting things on the registry and some ppl are really not!!
@rkellyswife95, i got 90% of everything on our registry. I was also specific. We went with the basic stuff, not what was new or cool. Just a crib, bedding, dresser, rock n play, play yard, bouncer, clothes, diapers, some toys, bassinet, extra sheets, crib mattress, changing pad, diaper bag, stroller, car seat and base. The very basic stuff. We got so many clothes from NB-6 months covered from the grandmas we even put on our registry 6 months + clothe sizes only.. Graco in my opinion is the best for strollers and car seats. Dont really need bumpers those are usually separate from the bedding. Just be specific. Do the research and stick with what you want and dont keep changing it too much. And remember to keep the price match in mind and tell people in your baby shower invite. They price match and give them the account number or they can just type in your name.
@lildarebear, the ppl in my social circle when I had my first born weren't good about buying things on a registry so I didn't even bother, the ppl I know now though are the type who RSVP and show up and buy things off of a registry so if I do have a shower I'll most likely take the time to do one. you're really fortunate to have 90%!!! that's really awesome :)
