I may be wrong, but aren't ultrasound techs or whatever they are called supposed to check baby's measurements every ultrasound you get? If so, he hadn't been measured since 25 weeks and I've just recently been told at week 34 that I couldn't get anymore ultrasounds. So week 32 was my last and they haven't checked to see how big he is for at least 7 weeks. I mean and they forgot I was supposed to get my Tdap shot a long time ago and I had to remind them and they looked at me like I was crazy like they could have sworn I had gotten it.
I honestly feel that the hospital I'll be delivering at won't be pleasant. I would change it, but it's way too late in my pregnancy to change doctors now. I haven't even seen my doctor who will be delivering my baby IF she's on call or not delivering someone else's baby, but only twice my entire pregnancy and she just popped her head in and out of the room. She hardly spoke to me at all.
Close to the end of pregnancy stress I swear.

I've only gotten three ultrasounds my whole pregnancy. At 9wks, 20wks for the gender/anatomy scan, and at the hospital while I was in labor.. I asked my dr for more but she said ultrasounds aren't good for the baby or something and she would only give me an ultrasound if she was concerned about the baby's health because if it's not needed then there's no point I guess 😕 idk

That's bologna. Ultrasounds don't effect the baby, there's no radiation used. I've heard all types of stuff like how it stresses the baby out which isn't true either. I wish they would do their job and be more considerate and understanding especially when some babies measure small or large and they run out of placenta or whatever and it hurts them.

Exactly! I just wanted her to give me more ultrasounds because I loved seeing my baby & I felt like 2 times wasn't enough 😞 plus they kept telling me that he was measuring small but I'm like how do these ppl know this if they hardly ever give me ultrasounds... I see all these girls that get so many & I'm just like ughh. Next time I'll be sure to schedule a couple 4-D ultrasounds

You Can Switch Doctors At Any Point In Your Pregnancy. I Switched Doctors At 37 Weeks Pregnant With My Daughter Because I Finally Met My Doctor At My Old Ob Clinic And She Was A Straight Up Bitch To Me. And As Far As Ultrasounds Go, All Ob Clinics Have A Set Amount That They Do Unless They Feel Something Is Wrong With The Baby. You Can Get More If You Want, But You Have To Pay Out Of Pocket Because Insurances Will Only Cover The Normal Ultrasounds The Office Does And Then If They Think Something Is Wrong. They Won't Cover For You To Get More Than That Just Because You Want Them Because It's Not A Necessity. That's What My Ob Told Me And I Even Called My Insurance And Asked And They Said The Same Thing. So If You Want More, You Can Get It, But You Have To Pay For It Yourself And They Say They're Pretty Expensive. Hope That Helped. (: @kaidensmommy943 @lexpalma

I have only gotten an ultrasound at 10ish weeks, and 18wks. I'm 35wks and MAY be getting one this week to see how big baby is, but that will be the last one. Unless there is something wrong they don't need to do any more ultrasounds. The only reason why people get them so often is because their doctor is concerned about something major...

I wasn't upset about the amount of ultrasounds, I was upset at the fact that they haven't measured him like they were supposed to when they did give me ultrasounds.
