why did they say your baby will be in the NICU ? My first kid , she's 5 years old now was born at 37 weeks+6days and never had to go to the NICU. she was healthy. my last daughter , 1 month old now was born at 34 weeks+6 days had to be in the NICU for 12 days. so I'm sure your baby probably wouldn't be in their long . depends on the situation with your baby though.

I had my son at 36+6weeks no NICU time. He is 1 now. I had my daughter at 37+6weeks. Has so issues with fluid in her lungs but no NICU. As long as you baby's lungs are strong and everything is going good, there will be no NICU time

I had my daughter at 34 weeks she was 3 weeks in the nicu and 2 weeks in the nursery

I had my first at 37 weeks and she was 5 lbs 3 oz and perfectly healthy. We went home the next day no problems. She's now 8. I don't understand why they're automatically saying ur baby is gonna be in NICU. Why r they inducing u do early?

I had my son via emergency c section at 37 weeks 3 days, he weighed 5lbs 9oz, he didn't spend any time in the NICU, we went home 3 days later!
