as you guys know today is my due date, and I've been induced. been admitted and in the HSP for 9 hrs already and I'm having very close painful contractions. but I'm still 9 cm and 80+ effaced very soft high cervix. my nurse lady was saying they aren't gonna be able too give me any medicine since I'm already progressing on my own. they were gonna give me cervidale but since I'm contracting on my own they're basically holding out. and letting it naturally happen. I'm not understanding if that means I go home.... or what since they can't do anything . I wanna go home and labor then since nothings happening. what should I do?

@booboolanii, I don't think they let you go home once you hit 5cm cause you're considered "in labor". You got this girls! Try to relax!

If your 1cm you're good to go home. My aunt was at 1cm for a few days and went past her due date, but she was also contracting on her own. They will tell you if they want to induce you.

Also, I was induced and given medicine at 37 weeks and I was 4cm dilated, so I don't know why they wouldn't give you petocin to speed it up. I was in labor knowingly for 19 hours though and was already 3cm by the time I was told I was in labor

I don't think they will send you home at 9cm you're too close to having the baby. Good luck 👍🏾
