ok, dumb question. but i seriously wanna know! i know for sure im gonna ask for that epidural right when i walk through those doors. my pain tolerance is literally a 0. but if i do have a vaginal birth, does it hurt down there even with the epi? how will i feel, do i feel anything?

You'll be numb from the waist down. You won't feel anything but a little pressure which should not hurt. I couldn't walk until the next morning because of how numb I was.

i had the epidural and when I gave birth I didn't feel anything but pressure that didn't hurt at all

you won't feel much . you'll feel like you need to take a giant poop and that'll make u push .... my epidural wore off alittle so I felt a second of pain before baby came out . but it was fine ,

@junesmommy15, @nikki93 @mrsmord i couldnt even do the vaginal ultrasound or pap smear because i was in so much pain. why cant they just put me to sleep and take the baby out lol. but then again i dont want a c section. i guess ill have to suck it up

@2ndchancemommy I hate pain too I might not be as sensitive as that but childbirth is no joke ! you'll be alright though if I can ...anyone can haha

@2ndchancemommy, don't worry with my first I had an epi and was so numb I couldn't even scoot my butt lower on the table because I just couldn't feel my lower half lol u will be fine

every experience is of course different but with my first child i didn't feel any pain once they gave it to me (even when pushing) i just felt the pressure and like I had to poop really really bad (but neither caused me pain ) and I felt discomfort like I been in a car for to long and needed to stretch.
