if it's a true emergency such as full blown labor I beleive they would cover it

they don't cover it, its pretty expensive. my husband couldn't breathe because there was something going on in his lungs and after he recovered in the hospital, they still gave him the bill for the ride.

medicaid doesn't pay for anything! the government is short on money, so they're trying to not pay for anything that they really don't have to. I'm not sure what Cigna is? maybe if its like an insurance that isn't medicaid, then you should call and ask if they cover but I know medicaid doesn't

@kelseys Cigna is one that I pay for, but Medicaid has covered everything with me so far because it's pregnancy related😳 I may be screwed and end up walking

yea, they cover regular medical stuff and pregnancy, but certain tests, meds, or even supplies that you might need to help recover from something they don't always cover. I was supposed to get a blood pressure monitor and medicaid won't cover it, even tho its needed for my pregnancy and my history with past pregnancies.

I have Cigna, of course coverage varies, but Cigna covered a good portion of an ambulance ride I had last year. I think the most I had to pay was a little over $200 dollars. Saying that in total without coverage it would have been nearly $2,000 dollars, I'd definitely use Cigna if you need to call for an ambulance. Plus you can also call Cigna to find out how much they'd cover.

I don't believe it mattered, I think it has to do more with the insurance policies coverage on emergency services more than anything. But I'm not 100% sure on it.

@miranda941 that's what is happening if she doesn't come before then I just have to pick the date, but I've ben in preterm 3 times and he's sweeping my membranes if I make it to 37 to get her out but I'm not sure how this will go down😩
