Yup!!! I did nothing to self induce myself with my son I was too scared to do that!

Its safe to have a baby at 37 weeks the doc just wanna make sure those lungs are fully matured.....Im on baby #6 and had all my kids at 39 weeks i refuse to be dragged and let me tell you my biggest was 10 pounds my 5th was 9/3 @arivera64

People don't understand that . Babies will come out when they're ready . I know being miserable & stuff will wanna make you want to but sometimes it's better to just let nature run its course .

@coko, im fully aware that in most sutuations the baby is well enough developed to be born safely at 37 weeks, however it's selfish for people to rush a baby out and risk a bad outcome just for their personal comfort.

also 37 weeks is no longer considered full term. It is now early term.

I was induced at 39 weeks because my doctor said Emma's head was really far down but I wasn't dilating fast enough. I stayed at 1cm for like three weeks.

I was 2cm for about 2 weeks. I didn't get induced. Sometimes the docs will make it sound good because induction is convenient for them

When certain situations arise like for an example pre-clampsia, diabetes is high or baby is n distress they will get the baby out and n my case with baby #5 i was induced because the fluid was too low and thats dangerous..Bet mines getting out at 39 weeks

And they drag first time moms to the end im not having it

In my case I should've been induced at 37/38 weeks , but of course wasn't and I ended up having to have a c section 4 days before my due date because my son was measuring big

He was 10.2 when he came out

oh of course there are situations in which inducing is something that's in the best interest of mother and child because of an emergency or condition. No doubt. Im speaking in terms of inducing because somebody just wants the baby out because they're tired etc.

I know i made them induce my labor with my 4th child but bet they had a convincing story to tell the insurance company...Trust me i know i worked with them
