Ughhh I wish doctors would stop doing cervical checks on women without risks. It makes them think their body is not working right when they are 39 weeks and not dilating yet. Your body does nt have to dilate until you are in labor! Stop stressing people. Realize that you could be 2cm dilated for 3 weeks and still go past your due date! It means nothing! Let the baby come when he or she is good and ready.
