You may or may not be able to hear the heartbeat, sometimes you can but its not a cause for concern if you don't hear it yet :)
Yea depends on the Doctor I heard mine at 6 weeks oh and the do a check up to
be prepared, you're early enough that they may not be able to hear the heartbeat. that is totally normal, so try not to freak out if they can't find it.
I heard my sons heartbeat with transvaginal ultrasound at 6wks. It is hard to find the baby or the heartbeat through your belly so early. Most first appointments they do transvaginal unless you are further along.
they stick a wand up ur vagina that looks like a penis with a rubber cover on it the jelly stuff is in the rubber and will show you the baby
They "should" be able to get a regular ultrasound done for you... I was 8 weeks when I got mine done. Didn't get to hear a heartbeat(the speakers weren't working) but they showed me the wavelength for it.
