How did your contractions feel like? And where did it hurt?

@messanderson, you're having back labor since your baby is probably facing the opposite. What they told me to do was to hunch over my bed like if I was going to do doggy style feet on floor hands on bed

Mine were very intense menstrual cramps. That was the only pain I ever felt, and it hurt in my lower abdomen like where you usually feel menstrual cramps

@jessica415, to the point you want to cry, or can't speak thru? Because mine do hurt a lot more than my regular cramps, but not to the point were i can't speak.

@jessica415, I'm not sure I would wait until you can't speak. with my first child I worked all day then went to my doc apt and when she checked me I was at a 5 a didn't even know it. it was just a regular check up.

@deckroth2001, that's what my dumb ass midwife keeps telling me. "You're talking they them , you must be fine"

I could speak through mine but definitely didn't want to with how uncomfortable i was. I never ended up crying until I got the epidural & that was because I was in a ton of pain but wasn't able to move (which was my coping method) because they make you sit a certain way when you get it & you have to be super still.

@lezette, then "stop talking" threw them lol I'm not one to no lay the system but dilation doesn't have to equal pain. I'm a tough cookie just like you. if I had to wait I would if had to have them all at home lol. we're you dilated at your last apt?@lezette

@deckroth2001, i tried lmfao but I failed because I'm a talker when I have pain. I seriously can't believe that they don't believe me when i say I'm a high tolerance for pain, I have gallbladder issues, and that pain is the worst pain I ever felt and I still spoke thru it at the hospital
