If it is the written portion which you usually have to take to get your permit you might need to read up on the drivers Ed book your state offers, you can find it online, just to brush up on road signs and stuff. If it's the driving portion don't be scared I was honestly scared I would fail but once your nerves go away it isn't that scary

@hkatedavis, . I just got mine like a yr ago and im now almost 25. I had such bad anxiety while driving. I did have my permit though for yrs eventually I did end up driving with it but I just put off the actual drive test for a long time cuz I was too chicken and with any type of test, my mind goes blank lol I eventually paid an extra $50 to take a practice test and I passed it 100%. I did however make a few small errors once the practice part was over but I still passed. it helps to have an understanding instructor though. just breathe and try to practice when you can. you're gunna want to be able to drive! I had to take the bus to and from college when I was pregnant my first time & it sucked cuz the busses here are sketchy. basically you need someone to just push you to do it. my husband was that person for me.

btw I now love driving. whenever my husband asks to drive I tell him no lol

Read the book!! I did all the online tests and they didn't help me.. but once I read the book I passed.. im really horrible at test taking too.. I panic BUT I read the questions more then once and that helped a lot.. also double check your answer...

Google practice written test. There is a website that has practice written test for all the states. that's how I have been studying.
