Okay ladies, so I'm a first time mommy and I decided to breast feed my baby boy. Nobody really educated me on it and nobody I know has ever tried it. I've been pumping and I haven't got much out but last night my breast got super huge and hard and they are very sensitive, this morning I woke up and breast milk was just dripping out of me. Is it normal that they are like this? How do I make them soft again? They are hard like rocks and very sore :(

It's normal to leak in the beginning and they are engored with milk, your body just needs time to regulate how much milk your baby will need. You either need to nurse or pump to get the milk out. A baby can get way more milk out than a pump can but if you need to pump then massage your boobs from the top all the way down to the nipple while you are pumping. It should help get the milk out. You can also apply a warm compress on your boobs while pumping
your milk just came in!! before it was colostrum.... it'll regulate in a month or two and won't get so engorged all the time.
