Well if you call out you have an excuse since pink eye is contagious

I talk to my boss and told her that I being with a pink eye since Friday and today woke up with a pink eye on my other eye and send her a pic of it and she told me if you have been using medication for it you are fine to work, Usually first 24 hrs is the unsafe time which I had but it hasn't go away @jrsmommy312

That's what i say I'm still going to show up at work and let them see by themselves how my eyes are I'm sure they wouldn't want me working with customers looking like this and I'm definitely sure customers won't like it either @jrsmommy312

@lovegod89, idk what u do for a living, but seeing how ur boss acted I'm guessing in the restaurant industry. Lol. But idk what state u live in but in me if u have any type of super contagious sickness u r not allowed to work especially around food bc u can get the customers and everybody super sick. Even if u accidentally touch ur eye not realizing then touch someone's plate/food now them n their family will get sick. If udont work in the restaurant industry then sorry for telling u pointless info. I have just been working in the industry for a little over 8 years and ur manager sounds just like all the ones I have had. Lol.

Lol haha I'm a cashier work at a supermarket but is kind of like the same thing because I'm dealing with food and I know customers won't be happy seeing a cashier looking like this 😒 @rmuscolino11

@lovegod89, yeah ur right. Cause from a customer stand point if u were my cashier and I had my little one with me Id b kind of upset they had u working and taking a chance on getting me n my baby sick. No offense to u. Lol.

Did you call the doctors for eye drops it will clear up by tomorrow

Lol I mean who wouldn't get upset I'm still going to show up at work so they can see how my eyes are in person so they can see that I won't be able to work at all today @rmuscolino11

@lovegod89, yeah I would definitely go in to just to prove to them. Cause if u didn't show up I'm sure they would talk shit n say how u weren't really sick or u over exaggerated. If u go in its 100% proof how bad ur pink eye is. And it's always good to prove a boss wrong to their face. Lol. I'm sorry u gotta go in to work tho n I hope u feel better soon! If it doesn't clear up by the end of the week, I would go back to ur dr tho just to make sure it hasn't gotten worse.

Yea that's exactly what I'm going to do cuz if a pic of my didn't convince them then maybe by showing up it will, yea hopefully I get better soon cuz this is terrible @rmuscolino11

@lovegod89, ouch that hurts me just looking at it. And honestly (no offense) u can tell from this pic that u have a pretty bad case of pink eye. If that wasn't enough proof then ur boss is freaking stupid forreal. Lol. I hope they send u home once u go in and u don't have to work like that.

I ended up staying at work, after I put visine and the medication on my eye it started looking a lot better but If I would of went to work and my eyes would of stay looking like this you better believe that I wouldn't had stayed and just left cuz there was no way that I was going to be able to work looking like this @rmuscolino11

@lovegod89, on the plus side u made more money on ur paycheck than u would have made with going home. Hopefully it's getting better and it's not too bad anymore.
