My daughter was 'small ' they never once considered changing my due date especially so late on. that's not normal. They should be concerned about size and monitoring because if you are as far along as you think then the placenta will stop working shortly after your due date etc t

That's ridiculous it'd like 2 months after!! Deffo fight that ans tell them they need to find out why she is small instead of leaving her longer @janegail

It's kind of frustrating Because I never have the same midwife so always have to explain that I'm not worried because my daughter was small. And I'm not exactly tall. Smh

Can they change your due date to two months?? I kno they can a couple of weeks. It's the first I have heard if your baby is to small. I would get this sorted xx

😐 doesn't matter about the midwife. my community midwife never really dealt with the fact that my daughter was small. It was picked up at a scan and dealt with by the hospital directly. I had fortnightly scans until 30 weeks and then weekly until she was born at 37 weeks. They deliver small babies earlier rather than leaving them longer.

They shouldn't change your due date because your baby is small..staying in there longer wont make her a bigger baby. Maybe she is just small.. Thats ridiculous! What kind of professionals are they ?! x

Honestly if thats the case make a complaint and ask to move to another gp. Thats out of order! Its someones like we're talking about. They trying to make you 8 weeks overdue...no way!x

My friends daughter was 1o weeks behind in size so when she was 34 weeks baby was measuring at 24 so at 36 they induced her and got baby out instead of leaving her in never heard of them changing the date very odd x

Baby will come when she or he is ready forget what they told u they can't keep baby in for 2 months so god knows what there talking about!

did you have a 12 week scan? was the due date June? because if they thought that your baby was actually due in august then at your 12 week scan it would actually only have been 2 weeks after conception...so that's quite a difference. They couldn't have got it that wrong then!

Well then any health professional would know that it's pretty impossible to get the 12 week scan wrong by 2 months. There's a massive difference between a baby that has just been conceived in the last couple of weeks (pretty much just a sack) and a baby that is 12 weeks...has arms legs and organs etc.
