Hi girls
Just tried to book my blood test for 28 weeks and lady wouldn't let me book unless I knew if it was fasting or non fasting, it's the routine one we all have(I think) do we have to fast? TIA

It is normally the midwife that does it and they are non fasting x

Can you not just book in with the midwife at 28 weeks and she'll take your bloods there? Don't mention she'll be taking bloods when booking the appointment then they won't ask you if you're fasting or not? Just a suggestion xx

Midwife told me weeks ago to have it booked- the person on the phone works in a call centre for the local hospitals so she couldn't tell me! @stephaniex so confusing!

I didn't have to fast but my midwife just took the bloods xx

It's my 2nd baby and I have no appointments til that blood test at 28 weeks- midwife said to book at local community hospital- I won't even see a midwife that day! Then I don't see midwife till 34 weeks! Feel so out of the loop compared to so many apps in 1st pregnancy @mrshamiltonxo
