I'm only 20 years old and I already honestly want to get married to my BabyDaddy we've been together for almost 3 years and I want Aveah to always have her mommy and daddy because my parents split up and I don't want that for my daughter. We don't have to get married before she gets here, but at least after. I don't want to be like 7-10 years into a relationship without marriage.... am I selfish for that?

Sounds just like me and my bf. Our daughter's 6 months and I've been wanted to get married. He's like "why don't we wait til we're like 25-26?". It makes me kind of mad because he knew when we got together marriage was something I really wanted for my future and if we both know we're not going anywhere I don't see why we can't do it now. I think something about it just scares them to death honestly

No.. Just understand that marriage doesn't guarantee a two family home. I was married before having kids and then divorced.. I was 18 when I got married and unsure of who i really was. Hopefully you're not as I was and the person that you're with grows with you. You're not selfish but you have to let life run its course
