Did you guys have an ultrasound at every appointment?

No my next apt tues isn't an ultrasound:( I wish it was

No not weird sometimes it's the only way to see anything if it is still early and most Drs don't do an ultrasound every time

Most doctors do a transvaginal ultrasound first because its the only way to see baby so early. And unless you have complications, a normal pregnancy you only get 2-3 ultrasounds. I haven't had an ultrasound since 18wks and I'm 35wks.

no you don't have them at every appointment but I had ultrasounds majority of the time including my first and second appointment

I got 2 so far but the first one from what I heard is always vaginal..

No not at every appointment. I didn't get one my last appointment. They do the ultrasounds on separate dates and they let me know when they'll schedule one and what it's for.

I only had 4 ultrasounds through my whole pregnancy . && only had 1 vaginal ultrasound my first trimester .

I have had one ultrasound a month and my first one was transvaginal

But I am high risk and have had weekly appointments since 15 weeks

I get a transvaginal ultrasound 1xs a month and a ultrasound done every appt..but that's because I'm high risk with twins and I'm seen 2xs a week now

My OB does a 3D/4D ultrasound at every appointment to monitor my baby's growth and make sure everything is going to plan. But every OB is different (: I started this pregnancy off as "high risk" , but my OB does the ultrasounds for everyone , not just me .

my doctor did my ultrasound for the first time normal but I was also 12weeks an then another at 19weeks an i won't get another till 36weeks
