ok ladies I'm a mum of 2 .... and had 2 natural deliveries, my son was 9.6 and I'm now being induced on Tuesday for a large baby but I'm absolutely shitting myself 😯😯😢 did everyone who got induced was it ok ?? TIA

Yeah I've had my waters popped before as only my hind waters had gone! I was birthing partner for my best friend who was induced 8 weeks ago but obviously everyone is different and I'm so impatient so just hoping I can skip the pessary part cos they then leave you for 24 hours x
god willing love.. yea epidural may b wise..I know u gotta hav favourable n open cervix at least 2 cm to hav membrane ruptured..d actual breaking of d water was completely painless for me ..don't b put off by d instrument dey use..trust me d sudden gush of waters will b a relief lol
Yeah I'm gonna request a epidural sp hopefully if I contract lots it's not too bad ..... 😂 I think the pessary is only used if the cervix is not soft enough? ?? I had a sweep on Wednesday so if she could do that with ease might be soft enough to go and break my waters ? @purity463
I was induced both times wid my boys. first was pessary and d sec one oxytocin drip..its different for evyone but I found d pessary was uncomfortable n border line painful cuz midwife didnt talk me through it n was v heavy handed..as long as u relax n breathe ull b ok hun..takes a while to kick in but I soon went into labour. .oxytocin drip for me was intense n sudden. .brought on strong contractions with no recovery time in between. .hpe ull b k hun. x
Yeah I think I'm worried because I have always gone into labour and this is the unknown xx
I've been induced 5 years ago but he was 7lb 8oz I did take pain relief and I was 16 years old so if I can do it I'm sure it's easy I'm scared of pain good luck x
