My husband's dog woke me up wanting out at 2am! I haven't been able to go back to sleep so now I'll end up missing church. The old dog just can't hold it for long anymore. I can't deal with him and a new baby. I feel bad but I think he's about to become an outside dog. After my race yesterday morning I came home to him having had multiple accidents. I was only gone for 2 hours! So yea I was nauseous so the kiddo had to clean up most of the mess and then I shampooed the carpet... again. He'll still be spoiled since we have several acres, a pond, and a dog house but I do feel guilty. :(

I'm sure he'll be fine. You need to do what is best for everybody. As long as you still spend time with him, he should adjust to outside life just fine. ^.^

try doggy diapers for at night and when your gone! I had to do that with my old guy, no more accidents!

@angelamarie, I appreciate the thought but it wouldn't work. He's a great dane/lab mix. He's massive and has massive bowel movements. I don't see diapers working. lol

oh my goodness. lol that would need a people sized diaper. my little guy is like a 2 foot tall😂 maybe😂 he takes sissy tinkles😂 hope you find a solution for the big guy though!
