This is probably a stupid question but I'm in the hospital for having contractions that were causing me to dilate, I'm only 31 weeks, they're giving me medicine to stop the contractions(pill every 6 hrs) next one is at 6, but I think I'm starting to feel it wear off, because I'm start to getting period like cramps, should I tell them now or just wait for the next dose?

Are you on the monitor? They should be watching that, but if you're nervous you can always call and ask!

I'm at the hospital now , been here 2 days, n they took me off, so I could actually sleep n relax, so I'm not sure if I should say anything mad halay88

I take procardia every 6 hours and you really shouldn't take another one until the 6 hour mark. If you are feeling contractions over the dosage let them know so they can figure out what to do. My dr told me if I started to feel contractions over the meds I should go to l+d but not to take another pill.

@alexzandriar, since 29 weeks. I started having contractions and didn't even know it. I have my cervix measured every two weeks and i was contracting during my ultrasound so they sent me to triage.i think it's been helping but I'm starting to feel contractions over the meds nothing I can time or that are consistent but I know labor is coming soon😫
