It was most likely water retention from the bath. When your water breaks it's constantly leaking and it will smell sweet.

amniotic fluid leaking is incredibly dangerous, not sure why it's being referred to as "just" amniotic fluid... Definitely call your Dr and get checked out asap because you're way too early to be leaking anything girl, if baby has a leak in the bag of waters it can be deadly if they don't help you stop it. BUT it could also be nothing, I had a huge clear gush at 28 weeks and went to.labor and delivery and it ended up being a big increase in discharge and possible pee even though no color or smell at all, since you're supposed to be drinking over 64 oz a day it can look clear normally. either way please don't take advice on apps like this about things so serious over an actual dr, call them asap and make sure it isn't something to panic over. they should have you go in to be checked because they will swab you and test to.be sure the fluid isn't amniotic and if it is they'll keep you to be sure labor doesn't progress. good luck either way momma and be safe!!! :)

@marienoelle, thanks you! Yea I'm concerned honestly. It hasn't leaked anything since then which makes me want to believe it was just retained bath water but I've never had that happen before either. And I'm having a burning like sensation in my belly. It's so weird

@theinkedmommy, if you are leaking amniotic fluid it's very very bad! Amniotic fluid has a sweet smell to it. It will smell like something sweet. If you are leaking amniotic fluid you need to go in asap. What your friend had was something else.

just play it safe girl, call or go in no matter what don't wait for it to happen again or to smell or.look a certain way... it's never worth risking baby. it's what you pay for, it's their job to help you when you call or go in even if it's nothing! :)

@brittanylove, is baby still moving? if your water broke you would feel very little to no movement and your stomach would drop dramatically.

@andrew_nikolai2015, baby is still moving but I rarely feel him as it is because I have a anterior placenta. Only thing thats bothering me is the pain around top or uterus. Under breast in between rib cage i guess is the best way to describe it. It burns and I'm having sharp pains here and there. Plus I'm nauseous.... :/ and I've not thrown up once during this pregnancy
